Koundouros

It is one of the most popular beaches son the island, has all the facilities you could need – beach bar, restaurant, play ground. Bar plays music that can be heard while you are in the water. Great for families with small children as beach umbrellas are close to the sea and there is a long shallow area. Rocks on the far side for exploring. Tends to be very crowded and you are "forced" to listen to the music playing. Parking a challenge.

Non-organized beach near 3 large villas, challenging to access, bring your own food and water, more folk are finding them now due to island over-crowing in north in summer months.

Otzias

One of the most known and popular beaches on Kea. Sand and some rocky areas – especially good for young children as it is shallow at first. Organized beach, food (see Restaurant section on our site) and water available might be very windy if meltemi blows as it is facing North Easter. Although it is very popular and ‘crowded’ it is a very large beach and there is plenty of space for everyone. Access in them middle difficult, is rocky and slippery, prefer the edges.
